In this video I talk about the importance of using proper body mechanics when bending forward.

The reason this is important is that every time we bend forward we increase the stress on the lower discs in the spine. If we don’t learn how to bend properly, we will never be able to fully recover from back pain.

I demonstrate two exercises designed to groove this motor pattern into your body.

Learn how to keep the spine in a neutral position as you bend from the hips.
